Has anyone ever had their 3200 sew a stitch length about 1 1/2 times longer than the forward stitch when going in reverse.

I just picked mine up two days ago. They are nice machines.

Wow I see what you mean. Most of mine was just like you said a file and sandpaper job. By the way did you notch your needle foot? Thinking about doing that to mine.

I drove up to Toledo and picked up my CB 3200 yesterday. Thanks Bob for showing me the basics on the machine. A lot to learn. It was marking g up the top side of the leather. Finally got that corrected. Now to learn how to sew. LOL I believe it is going to be a great machine.

I drilled the arbor hole deeper so it would hold the punch more secure and give me more room form the end of the punch to the work surface.

Yes the flat spot keeps th oval punch in alignment . Good ideal on a second press.

Ok so I need to reduce my file size. Thanks

I know I am probably asking beginners questions but if you don't know you have to ask. Can you glue veg tan leather and chrome tan leather together and expect good results? I feel the answer is yes just want to confirm before running a project.

Thanks Matt sounds like a good ideal. Yes the oval holes are a little more difficult. If my eyes were a little younger I am sure it wouldn't have been an issue to begin with? LOL

Got tired of belt holes not being in a straight line.

Thanks for the heads up. Any tips are welcomed.

Anxiously waiting for my new Cowboy 3200 to be delivered.

Great thanks for the information. I have been wanting to make multi layer bowls and glad to hear how someone else is doing it. Thanks for sharing.

I would be interested in hearing more about the glue up process of the two pieces. And at what stage of making the two pieces do you glue them up. Type of glue? If you don't mind sharing. Thanks Ken

Thanks for the reply. After thinking about it I think I will pass. Should be a good deal if someone needs one. Nice of you to offer. I actually have a CB 3200 on order. I thought about fixing it for a lighter flattop machine. I appreciate your offer oh . Good luck I am sure someone will take you up.

Are they pretty complete? Do you think they have been very hot in the fire? They don't look like they have been too hot.
