the question was the topic how do I put a deep groove in leather ( like when your going to fold the leather either completely or at an angle.

How do I do this without a tool that grooves.

Sorry when I hear people tell me I need a Doctors help its most of the time when Im having a bad day and my Depression scares them. Yes I am under a doctors Supervision for my Health.

Don't need a Doctor I can deal with this kind of depression and to many of the doctors around here want to put everyone on medication for every little thing. I'm just depressed with losing my job I'll get over it I'll get a new job. Yeah I would love to keep my tools but I dont have much stuff to sell anymore most of my stuff has been sold , Destroyed, or really isnt sellable except to select people. I'm going to make it through I've been through worse a lot worse. Just depressed right now and probably will be for a few days.

Thats the thing about still living with my parents ( even with a job I wasnt so well off With Debts for College and Car )..... They decide when a Garage sell would be. I guess I'm going to be put on unemployment going to get this weight off of me then try to find a job hopefully find one that isnt fast food or department store.

I'm SO Far from being able to make anything worthy of selling its not funny I've only made a total of 2 pieces both of which arent that good. And I cant get any luck selling my jewelry that I have been doing for 11 years and stuff So not having to much high hopes for selling leather items. Just spent about 600 dollars in tools this past month to get started and 1 side.

Kind of hard when your so Overweight you can barely walk and the job you had was a sit down job and when you live in a ghost town where there is no employment and have difficulties driving distances. Right now I'm in a very bad way mentally and Im trying to keep myself together.

I just got laid off from work today.. After buying all of these tools and supplies and stuff and also spending about 4k on Lasik I was informed today I was no longer employed... I was beginning to like it here and learn new things but I'll probably be selling my stuff here soon cheap most of it has never been used the rest has been used very little.

Does anyone know where I can get a small ivy Stamp at Been looking everywhere Tandy doesnt have one though I think 792 looks like it might work. Does anyone know any other places that might have them the stamp will be used as a strand of ivy on a Collar thats 1 inch wide.

I bought a Tandy Adjustable ground and I tried to unscrew the top so I could adjust it to make a piece that I am actually cutting all by hand and it not only broke the micro screwdriver I was using but it completely shaved the inside so that another attempt would be impossible. Has anyone else had this problem I plan on returning the piece tomorrow in hopes that he will allow me to replace it.

yep I was doing the basket weave wrong now I can correctly practice working with it. Thanks J bird I knew somehow it wasnt looking right.

I've seen the majority of the Youtube videos thats just my first time ever at stamping. I didnt really know how to use some of the stamps and some parts I should have tried to use my stylis. ( though right now Dont really know how to use that either ) Im learning I have a good supply of Scrap thanks to wonderful people.) I actually have that youtube video saved cause he shows a great deal of work. Thanks for the help though I appreciate any tips I can get.

Hello I really Havent actually finished any projects Though I do have one i'm trying to get done.. I did however play with a few of my stamps and my swivel knife ( I need to buy different blades I dont see how you can manuever a flat blade. I know these arent that good Im not that good and I need more practice. Jeff and Meryl are two friends of mine. That flower was free hand and I didnt really know what I was going to do while making it.

This place has been a Gods Send for me I love it here I'm learning so much and Johanna's Already helped me save a good deal of money in purchasing things. So far the only thing I've done is cut some straps that she sent me bevel the edges Slick them and punch a few holes. I've been reading up a lot and saving up to be able to buy a side here soon enough.. I'm also realizing that I know a few people in here from other forums I have been to that werent leather related and its nice to see some familiar faces. I hope to learn to make at least every thing possible sooner or later. Thanks for making that possible for me with such a great site and great and wonderful people Johanna.
