The neatsfoot would probably work as long as the strap is wet enough to stretch.

Very nicely done and that welt is insane. Whenever I'm forming a wet or a dyed holster I wrap the gun or knife in a couple layers of saran wrap to keep the moisture off. Perhaps just wet the retention strap and cover your glock and snap it and let it dry. Just a suggestion.

This is a factory made holster that I have worn for 3 plus years. It has held up pretty good considering what I've done to it. So I decided to try and make a new one for my Sig 365 xl everyday carry (and I do mean everyday). Let me know what you think.

You made a good choice, a carry gun has to be reliable and comfortable for your style of shooting.

Nice job on the holster, I also like the simplicity of the shoulder strap. Good choice on the G3, I worked at a local gun shop for 5 years and we sold a lot of that model with very few warranty issues. My personal carry gun is a Sig p365 xl.

I haven't been on the site for a while but I just wanted to share my view this morning from my desert compound. I hope you all stay safe this Holiday season.

I really appreciate everyone's advice. I called my dealer and told him I was going to pass on that machine,at least I got to him before he spent the time to set it up and service it. I think I will work more with my 206 rb and possibly look at a Tippman Pro, or Cowboy outlaw hand crank for a second machine for heavier work

I will probably be better off saving the $500.00 plus and look for a machine more suitable for holsters and such. I belive I will call my dealer and tell him I'm going to pass on the 168w-101. Thanks for the input my current machine is actually a Japanese Consew 206 Rb-2 that I made a holster for my son in law and I found the limits of what it can do. I was hoping with the post bed and once a servo is installed that I might be able to go up to 3 layers of 8 or 9 oz leather, perhaps I should keep looking.

My local shop has a old Singer168w 101 for sale I am planning on buying it once he get serviced and shows me it's working properly. It has a table and light ,the motor is the clutch drive monster. I can get it for $400.00 ,the way it sits after the service, the first change will be a servo set up, so I will be in it $525.00 or so with new servo. I am new to machines so I was hoping someone here could give me an opinion on the price. The photo that I have can't download because of size. It looks to be in good shape for a 60 plus year old unit. Thanks in advance for any opinions good or bad I have no money invested yet. Terry

Hello all from the desert in Arizona. I have lurked around this site for a couple months and have already picked up some good info on a Singer 168W 101 that I am working on picking up. Getting close to making the deal and I am probably getting ahead of my abilities since I never used a machine until 3 months ago when I bought a used Consew207 R B-2 still figuring it out but it is fun. I will try not to ask foolish questions and maybe I may help someone with something I have figured out by being on this ball of mud for 69 years
