Just finished this for a fellow. He brought over an old Indian river knife kit blade he had laying around for years. it cleaned up real nice. He just wanted simple leather so i made this also. For those wondering the wider snap loop has a function it is because the knife is handle heavy so if i were to put a standard loop at the bottom of the handle the sheath would tend to tilt. raising and widening the loop puts the balance point higher solving the problem.

Sheath 9 oz with canyon tan, water proofed with mink oil and ready for the hunt.

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

Very nice, clean lines. Very often simplicity is the best course.

Thanks Chuck. I always appreciate when people explain the design details they incorporate to overcome problems. Nice, simple sheath. No fuss, no mess and no problems. Kudos to you.

Nice work, really like the colour and how mink oil gives it a natural aged look.
