Members RockingRA Posted January 3, 2023 Members Report Posted January 3, 2023 I get a fair number of requests for higher end horse halters. I don't like to use a standard ring in halters, but I haven't been able to find a good source for the three-sided halter squares (image attached). Anyone have a good source? Quote
Members TomE Posted January 3, 2023 Members Report Posted January 3, 2023 Batz Corp. Download their catalog for easy searching then search on part number for price. Quote
Members jcuk Posted January 3, 2023 Members Report Posted January 3, 2023 I get mine from Abbey England. https://www.abbeyengland.com/three-loop-square-c042 These i are what i use for my better Head Collars https://www.abbeyengland.com/standard-three-loop-square-brass-st3loop There are their standard ones which i mainly use for repairs of lesser quality Head Collars The difference in quality is there to be seen especially over time, but they are not cheap and add that to the shipping your of the pond may make way to expensive, but will say i have used some in different finishes and have been happy with them too and so were my customers. That said the standard collection are okay too but do suspect they are probably the same as most i see from other places which sometimes are cheaper. Hope this helps JCUK Quote
Members ArkieNewbie Posted January 3, 2023 Members Report Posted January 3, 2023 Don't know anything about the quality but, I found these...... https://www.zackwhite.com/34in-Solid-Bronze-3-Way-Halter-Square--H37012BZ_p_3051.html Quote
Members Klara Posted January 4, 2023 Members Report Posted January 4, 2023 Pethardware in Poland is my source, but as you are in the US. you can just as easily get them from Aliexpress. Just a few days ago I saw some, but I can't find them again. As long as you buy stainless steel or solid brass from a specialist supplier, the quality should be fine. Quote

I will definitely follow up on *all* these! Since the pandemic/supply chain shutdown, I find it's best to call Batz Corp to check price and place orders. Most of their items are listed as "quote" which means they've been on back order. They are well stocked at present. Quote

I cannot speak for the stainless. Abbey England is good, too. Best regards! Quote
Members RockingRA Posted April 24, 2023 Author Members Report Posted April 24, 2023 Outstanding! I have used Zack White before, and always had good results - thank you! Quote
