The last time I made one of these was back in 2014. I don't do brand names like this one  too often , out of respect.

Leather is 4mm vt DB . Just a light pattern along the edge . The lettering and ' Live To Ride'  3D stamps is bevelled around each one,  left natural, not painted  (so it will darken in time) , but carefully  dyed black around each letter. *Made my eyes go silly  and just a few snaps and sturdy  buckle.  I made a HD  tank cover for the same client a while back so I was happy to make a ' HD' keeper.

*am I the only one that puts one pair  of glasses on top of another?   Yeh yeh , I know I need my eyes checked.

Looks great.  I like the idea of leaving leather natural so it will darken over time.  I love it.  And, no, you are not the only one to double up on lenses.  I sometimes wear my readers with a jewelers loop setup over them.  Maybe that's the trade off...as we get older, we get to share our experience with others 'cause we can't do it ourselves any more. LOL.  I am a really good softball coach for my granddaughter, but I can't throw the ball from 1st to 3rd without it bouncing or sending shooting pains through my shoulder.  Ahh...youthfulness.

@PastorBob & @chuck123wapati Thank you very much

I modified a brush a long time ago  so it only has a few bristles on it  to get around  lettering and small bits   on stuff like this . I couldn't work without it  now...or my extra glasses lol

I have a sore back from being hunched over and close up doing the lettering on the belt. The sacrifice is worth it ...I think:unsure: Shame we can't charge extra for physical pain .

First off, nice belt. I used to ride Harleys but the only thing I ever made was a sissy bar bag with the HD Eagle emblem on it. It's still around here somewhere, stiff as a board from being rained on a lot.

I used to have a visor magnifier to use over my glasses when doing anything close up. When cataracts went away in favor of man made lenses all I need now is 2X readers and good lighting. Brush tip: Hobby Lobby has very small artist's brushes that work very well for intricate dye work. I have a good supply as I dallied in acrylic painting for a time. I could do it fairly well but never managed to fall in love with it so----left over brushes and I have a lifetime supply..

Thats something really important, aside from good eyesight when doing close  up work,   good lighting

Thank you y'all  :)

Nice job on the belt, looks like a lot of work.

I use head magnifiers - a lot! I have a pair in my lathe shed, a pair in my garage, a pair in my leatherwork/reloading shed and a pair in my computer room.:rolleyes2: And two pairs of glasses, one for computers/reading and one for distance. Getting old is a bummer, but better than the alternative.
