Hags Report post Posted July 29, 2023 I met a young man (just about all of them are young now) who is a roofer. He showed me a "holster" he had for his phone that reall looked like a Tandy kit someone put together from pretty crappie leather. It was falling apart. He asked me if I cou l d make a heavier duty version that would include his quote book, phone, and pen. Didn't need to be fancy........... May be I got carried away in the spirit of the moment... Hermann Oak 8/9, except for the divider inside that is HO 5/6 277 bonded nylon top and bottom. I do like to surprise people. He got his money's worth! Gezzer Report post Posted July 29, 2023 That is nice work and might be just a tad fancy for a roofer .......................... and should last a very long time
MarshalWill Report post Posted July 29, 2023 That looks great. Just enough basket weave, just enough molded leather, just the right color. Well done.

Norik Report post Posted January 15 Beautiful! I hope he appreciated it. How long did it take you to make it?
Hags Report post Posted January 15 Couple of days between other projects. Tooling is quick, dying is quick, molding takes time, sewing is quick, drying is the longest part.
