I am new to using my Cowboy 4500 machine. We have sewn several items, but now the needle keeps hitting the bobbin. IMG_7164.thumb.jpeg.61e8f24476e4aef00fb9da05bc559c15.jpegThe bobbin case appears to be upside down (not in the right position) from when we began sewing with this machine. IMG_7163.thumb.jpeg.4afa708bf8fd5530b17a4dcbc058ce86.jpegWhen the needle is in the highest position, the bobbin case is upside down. I have made sure the needle is installed all the way in. What are some other things I can try so we can get back to sewing? Thank you in advance for any ideas.

Needle looks bent. Machine is not timed correctly.

Does that machine have a safety clutch?  When I bought my Pfaff I too thought the timing was way off, until I started ,looking deeper into it and found the safety clutch had tripped.  I didn't realize that a simple jam would trip it - glad to know it works.

I just checked mine to be sure and your timing is off almost 180 degrees. It's not hard to time but so you get the best explained instructions from @Wizcrafts, @CowboyBob

@Uwe has produced some very informative videos that helped me understand and tame my 441 clone.  This is my favorite for timing a TSC-441 type machine.

For the needle to hit the bobbin must make a hell of a frightening sound :(
