I have a cheap single hook that either came from Weaver or SLC. I have worn the belt every day for years and have no problems with its durability. Belt is 8-9 oz 1.5" wide. Single layer. A while back, a customer of mine sent me his old SnapOn mechanics belt and this was the buckle. I even contacted SnapOn about it and they told me to take a hike. I'm pretty sure its proprietary to the brand...unfortunately.

They offer 3 different attachment styles as well as 3 different finishes. You will have to make your stud attachment plate. Like I said, they make 3 different attachment styles. 1 style is threaded for a screw & the other to styles are a threaded stud style. Little suckers are expensive at $9 each.
