Another Simple Guitar Strap

Made an adjustable guitar strap for a friend.  HO bridle leather lined with black napa leather.  He is buying a guitar with a honeycomb pattern on the top.  I couldn't figure out how to neatly stitch a honeycomb so I came up with an art deco type pattern with several hexagons.

Beautiful guitar strap. Looks great! Love the stitch work. 

How does that style of guitar strap fasten to the guitar? I've always wondered.

Thanks!  The keyholes on each end of the strap fit over “pins” on the guitar.

Yeah that color is growing on me. @TomE what color would that 1st guitar strap be. If that is dye, I gotta get some.

Thank you all for the kinds words.  Credit for the color goes to Hermann Oak Leather.  This is HO bridle leather in Havana.  It is a deep red-brown in daylight.

Very beautiful leather. I had a feeling it might have been bridle leather. It has got such a nice deep color.

Looks great!  What thickness did you use?  I want to make one as well but not sure what leather to start with.
