I think I am in over my head and could use a hand

my idea sounded good, in my head

this is the front flap of a purse

my idea is 3- mystery weaves  with a 1/2” between them.  How am I going to flip the whole front pan  between the 2nd and 3rd strand

Sorry to say friend , you won't . Its not just the 2nd & 3rd strand, its also the rest of it you need to flip...through and through again..... . It may have been better to do that on a separate piece and sew it on after, but even then you may still  have some "difficulties" :dunno:

Put it down, for now,  and have a great Christmas:)

Can you basketweave it with seperate leather strips/wide lace to save the project. Then just have 2 long stitch lines, 1 on the left & 1 on the right?  Is that a possibility?
