esantoro Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 another one is leaving HQ today...captain curts winged wheel... Very nice. Beautiful edges. BTW, is that a Tandy granite slab everything is on? I'm asking because I'm wondering if what I had bought from Tandy is granite and not marble, even though I think they listed it as a marble slab. Whatever I have, it looks like what you have in your pics. Again, beautiful work. ed Quote
esantoro Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 (edited) Whenever I see the stitch work that Kevin and Steve do, I think the designers in the fashion world aren't even half as good. I think we ought to start giving these narcissistic sissies in the biz a run for their money. http://cgi.ebay.com/LIMITED-EDITION-Marc-J...1QQcmdZViewItem If the above link doesn't work, the ebay item number is 190198719051 ed Edited February 19, 2008 by esantoro Quote
ETW Grumpy Posted February 19, 2008 Report Posted February 19, 2008 That's really tight. Is the color on the pockets the color of the leather, or a stain/dye? You must be using a 10 pound sledge to get impressions that deep. Looks great. Still liking your chains. Quote
Members Spider Posted February 19, 2008 Members Report Posted February 19, 2008 Steve this is very nice. Kinda reminds me of the case that was for a PDA called the Zodiac by Tapwave. Of course yours looks way way better. http://the-gadgeteer.com/assets/brando-zodiac-case3.jpg Quote

I am happy to work something out...lets do it "off-bhoard" ok?And they are about 7.25 long and about 4" wide at the widest point - although that is not a scientific measurementstevebThat's really tight. Still liking your chains.no Grumpy - the color on the inside is an airbrush produced presentaiton...i always use a 3color bnlend on the insidesi have a good heavy maul and I tend to work on pretty dry material so a good solid "whack" is all I need... I am not big on soaking/casing and tend to spray bottle my work rather than soaksteveb Quote

faceOdd Posted February 20, 2008 Report Posted February 20, 2008 Steve, that's lovely! I've never seen a wallet shaped like that before. And I have to say once more, I absolutely love the texture you put on your designs. It (almost) makes me want to try! Instead, I think I'll just admire your work : ) Quote
