Struggling here - 1/4" and 3/8" inch letter stamping may be the death of me. I want to get a T bar to use with my Vevor press so I can just line them up and they don't move when I press down. I have tried going from the center out, using a guideline, etc. No matter what I do the slightest movement causes letters to look so dang wonky I can't send the product out. I have the Tandy stamp guide too but it's difficult to use with my press. Tips and tricks or places to order the letter stamp holder and not break my bank are appreciated!

Thanks!

What does your stamp style look like? Do they have the 3/8" socket that a stamping handle snaps into them?

Also can we get a pic of the press you are using?

Thanks.

You may have to figure out a jig that'll work with your press and letter stamps.  Get creative!

@billybopp recommended what I was going to say/recommend. You may have to build a jig to hold the dies.

I been wanting 1 of their presses myself & when I do get 1 I will build a jig for my letter stamps.

Give me a second & I'll get a pic posted that may or may not be of help.

I mainly use the 1" stamps, so I'm not sure if this technique will work for the small letters.

I LOVE the press! I use Die Cutters with it for bookmarks, coasters, and cow tags along with letter stamping. I have no trouble with 1/2" and up stamps... It's those little 3/8" and 1/4" buggars that are SO testy. I have no clue how to even begin to make a jig. I am a teacher full time LOL

Ok this is crude as heck & redneck at its finest.

Will the small letters stand up on there own?  Like this 1st picture? If No.

Then we will go to picture 2,3,&4

I'm using double sided router/pattern tape to hold the letters to the paint sticks. Granted they are too wide, only need to be about 3/8" width.

So I laid out the letters, then double sided taped the paint sticks.

Then I sandwiched the letters between the paint sticks to hold all the letters at once.

I think 3/8" popsicle sticks would be perfect for this.

I made this. It copes with any size of letter and is easy to make, with a couple of spacing bars. The top two bars are replaceable with others

Another thing I do is; I've taken rubber molds of my letter sets and cast up resin letters which I then glue together

I also have this; I made a couple. They're easy to make and adjust to any size of letter

All these are used by me in my Tandy pro-press
