Spider Report post Posted July 2, 2009 Hi all, I've been busy making stuff and if you look in my wallet section of my site you'll see. I've been blessed with custom orders for my artwork. Here are a few things I've recently made... Rustic Bible Cover - She was worried about it getting scratched or dirty so I made it in a style that would sorta welcome that. Formed Cell Phone Holder - Made for iPhone using Tandy's pre-made body and my wet formed skull The Beautiful Bride Wallet

Tae Report post Posted July 6, 2009 Spider, the iPhone case is awesome. Did you carve a wood skull first? And if you don't mind me asking, how do you nail the leather on to the wood piece since it's pre-cut? Tae
Spider Report post Posted July 6, 2009 Spider, the iPhone case is awesome. Did you carve a wood skull first? And if you don't mind me asking, how do you nail the leather on to the wood piece since it's pre-cut?Tae Hi Tae, Actually I have a few small skulls that I use as molds. The thing with this one is that it had to get more narrow to fit the iPhone case. This gives it the look it has now. Kinda Sleestack look I guess (SP?). Wet your leather and start to form it over the mold while blowdrying it. Take your time and it will shape. Then just form it to place and stitch it and trim. The skull is hollow but will hold it's shape after it dries.
