I find that the holes aren't that bad, and I tend to stick my awl in one of them so it doesn't roll off the table and onto my foot (it likes to land point down). I didn't really have a proper work bench before so it has been a real benefit to me. Took about 2hrs by myself to assemble get it into position and stuff the drawers full. Regarding the holes, the first thing that I did was to take clear shelf paper(sticky) and cover the entire bench. It protects the wood from dye,stains, etc and covers the holes, and makes a nice smooth, clean surface to work on. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Have yet to put it together though but I'm going to put some locking caster wheels under it so I can roll it around the shop (I like to clean up under my benches on occasion.) Looks nice!
