firetoad Report post Posted February 8, 2014 (edited) Some of my latest work... I used a Cow Camp Saddlery Two-Buckle Headstall Pattern, that I modified to fit my shorty sorting/cutting horse, to make the following. I also made it to match the crazy legs stamped saddle I regularly ride and pulling collar that I recently made. It is all HO Chestnut English Bridle 8/10 oz. Leather. keplerts Report post Posted February 10, 2014 Very nice! Did you get the pulling collar pattern from Cow Camp as well? I would like to make a pulling collar but have yet to find a pattern. I hate to buy a already made collar just for a pattern. Tom
firetoad Report post Posted February 11, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the compliments guys. The pulling collar pattern is actually my own pattern. I built it specifically to fit our cow horses, 14 to 14-3 hands. I may change out the browband on this one because I am not sure about the fit on this little-headed guy. MarkB Report post Posted March 6, 2014 firetoad That looks great hope that the patterns helped you and I like that you were able to rework it to fit your horses. that is what I hope others can do. Mark
Saddlebag Report post Posted March 28, 2014 Kelperts, buy the collar, make your pattern and return the collar for a refund. Works for me!

keplerts Report post Posted March 28, 2014 Saddlebag, That is not something I feel is right and would never do. If I bought the pulling collar I would also KEEP it!
