Members Wild Bill46 Posted August 4, 2014 Members Report Posted August 4, 2014 Ditto, I'm with freezerfiller. old and new look great, but the kids look even greater ! Quote
rawcustom Posted August 5, 2014 Report Posted August 5, 2014 I have a suggestion about the bags. You can't post that much hand stitching that looks that good. It gives me no room to complain about the comparable small amount I've had to do. Otherwise, excellent work, and I won't be tricked into trying to match your efforts ever again! Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted August 5, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 5, 2014 Thank you, Bill! @rawcustom - LOL, that is a spectacularly nice thing to say, thank you. However, you get into the groove, and when you're taking two weeks to make something, an extra evening or two doesn't make much difference. My bags are relatively small and uncomplicated. In a way, they're much easier to make than knive sheaths and wallets. Quote http://monicajacobson.com/ https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrimGoTrix?ref=si_shop
Members Frederiek Posted August 6, 2014 Members Report Posted August 6, 2014 I must say I still quite like the old one! Pretty as the new one may be ^^ The sheaths look really cool, great idea. Quote My website My Etsy store
Members MonicaJacobson Posted August 7, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 7, 2014 Thanks, Frederiek! I'm really feeling motivated to clean up the rough parts and not retire it permanently after all. Quote http://monicajacobson.com/ https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrimGoTrix?ref=si_shop
Members Dan28 Posted August 7, 2014 Members Report Posted August 7, 2014 I'm a fan of the bags too. You should teach those boys to do their best Paul Hogan (aka Crocodile Dundee) impression when taking out those practice knives and say "Now that's a knife." Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted August 8, 2014 Author Members Report Posted August 8, 2014 Thank you, Buttons, and Dan! Dan, you're absolutely right. That would be a frightening thing, especially x 3. Quote http://monicajacobson.com/ https://www.etsy.com/shop/TrimGoTrix?ref=si_shop
