Sorry I didn't see your posting earlier,it sounds like a great buy for a couple hundred.Keep it well oiled & it might last another 100 yrs.

Hey guys,

A lady that I am helping with an Adler 30-1 in Florida sent me this posting on another 45K53 for sale in Florida if anybody is interested. Check the following:

That's the one shoepatcher ,she really wanted it gone.she threw in The skirting,that's one of those have to have

The feed mechanism is different to the 45k58 flat bed

I do not have a parts list for the 45k53 but if it takes the same feed dog as the 45k25 then I have some nice new ones.

The feed dogs are different between them ,the needle plate from one won't even fasten to the other.

The feed dogs and needle plate look unique to the machine,the presser looks the same as a 45K58

post-49696-0-72361000-1417802704_thumb.jlooking for Presser Foot for 45K53.The machine I purchased has one,would like a few I could modify left/Right.Constabulary had some Adler pcs for sale which would have fit,but those are sold.Any Ideas would be appreciated,before I spend a weekend on the Bridgeport.
