I won first place for this deer hide shirt. I ran out of deer hide so, I used deer hide split suede for contrast. I am not sure that the contrast can bee seen here.

Very, very nice! Where did you get your pattern? At some point, I'd love to make buckskin shirts for my kids. They'd freak out.

I draw all of my my clothing patterns. As I have to do them for different sizes and there is nothing similar out there. I like to put a unique spin on my things.

That is what I basically did. I found a shit sketched around it to a point. Depending on size I leave at least two extra inches around the areas that are being sewn. It is better to be more roomy than tight because boy can they get hot. Contrasting sleeves of deer hide split suede are lighter than the deer hide. So it is warm but not too warm.
