Members Ezilth Posted November 13, 2008 Members Report Posted November 13, 2008 I made another bracelet. My last one was kind of a test run the original idea was a birthday present for my best friend so I don't think he'll mind have similar braclets.if you didn't see the last one here's the link to it and my some of my older work is on the same topic. Bracelet Nice job!! Your friend will be happy with that. Good use of tools and spacing looks good. Have you checked out another members work, "Joe V." ? He does some bracelets and belts. Keep posting, if you get stuck on a step in the leather working part of a project, feel free to ask in the "how do I do this" section. And if you care to have a critical eye look at a piece you finished and want suggestions on how it could be done different post under "critique my work". Good job, and keep posting. Rick Jorgenson Thanks for the advice Rick I'll check Joe Vs profile right away. Looks good! I like the coloring.Keep posting pix of you work! We all love to see more! William Thanks Calanneh I really appreciate the input and support I like, very good job. What color is that (tan with antique maybe). LOL and the cow, is that where you got the leather from. The coloring is medium brown, it's an antique. Since it's water based after I apply it and buff it then I spray it after it dryes a little with a little water and scrub it a little with a paper towel to get the shade of color I want, I may do this a couple of times. Then I dyed the background tooling black along with the edges and finished it with SuperSheen to keep the black dye from looking to blah. No the the cow was an accident when I added the pictures. But since she's there you can all meet our cow Freckles. Quote "Life consists not in holding good cards, but playing those you hold well."
