Members Tarawhite Posted March 3, 2015 Members Report Posted March 3, 2015 (edited) Hi Everyone... Here is a belt bag I just made for client on Etsy. It is tooled, dyed and sewn my hand... Edited March 3, 2015 by Tarawhite Quote
Members Rohn Posted March 3, 2015 Members Report Posted March 3, 2015 Very nice. I really like the antler closure. Quote
Members Tugadude Posted March 3, 2015 Members Report Posted March 3, 2015 The color contrast between the edge and background of the carving gives the bag a very rich look, nicely done! Me like. Quote
Members MonicaJacobson Posted March 3, 2015 Members Report Posted March 3, 2015 I love the celtic dog theme. Fun bag! Quote
Members Basically Bob Posted March 3, 2015 Members Report Posted March 3, 2015 Looks great! Everything works well with the theme, including the stitching. Just curious - what did you use for the stitching? Quote
Members Tarawhite Posted March 4, 2015 Author Members Report Posted March 4, 2015 Thanks everyone. I am only allowed to show two photo's-wish I could show more. Bob-the interior flap is lined with glue-in pigskin suede, so edges of it need to be sewn down to prevent it lifting. I use artificial sinew for thread. Try to get as much wax off thread as possible, as it transfers so easily to suede. I just got my Cobra-4P so hoping to start machine sewing the perimeters instead.... Quote
Members Kulafarmer Posted December 21, 2015 Members Report Posted December 21, 2015 Really like the carving, Am wanting to draw some Celtic designs for phone covers and stuff Quote
Members Tarawhite Posted December 21, 2015 Author Members Report Posted December 21, 2015 Thanks for your kind words... Quote
Members ELeBlanc Posted December 26, 2015 Members Report Posted December 26, 2015 I would love to see more photos. Looks like the front under the flap is made from 3 separate pieces of leather. If you can't post more I can Private Message my email. Quote
