rundogdave Report post Posted April 29, 2015 My version of the coin purse. I like seeing all the different interpretations. It is inspiring. Looking forward to Friday for next month's challenge.
thefanninator Report post Posted May 1, 2015 I haven't had much time... I didn't quite finish and it's sloppy due to rushing. I'll post a photo. I'll also post May's challenge in a little while.

thefanninator Report post Posted May 2, 2015 Nice Cardinal. Your curve cuts look really tight. I made the mistake of using an Exacto and it flexes so the curved part ends up slanted. Anyone else have suggestions or hints on cutting curves?
cardinal leather Report post Posted May 2, 2015 i used a pair of serated sissiors from Tandy. One tool that was worth the 45.00 price tag. it will follow the pattern well but you have to guide it carefully as they will want to work into the curve and that will leave a flat spot. TRHLeather Report post Posted May 2, 2015 (edited) So I'm a day late this month.Ran into some complications getting my sewing machine to work with my new 277 thread. This is only the second thing I have actually sewn other than test pieces. More practice is definitely required. Edited May 4, 2015 by Johanna
