Members LeatherLegion Posted May 7, 2015 Members Report Posted May 7, 2015 Playing around with some ideas...one piece of leather , 2 card pockets ... one on the inside and one on the outside for most used card...bills fit nicely without the need to fold them. I might go with 2 stacked pockets on the inside. For this one I used 4-5oz chrome tanned , stitched with #138 on a Cowboy CB4500 Any comments are more then welcome. Thank you ! Quote

Members veedub3 Posted May 7, 2015 Members Report Posted May 7, 2015 Nice wallet design. I have a prototype I was playing around with that is very similar to this. I love the card pocket feature on yours. Mine just have a card slot on the front that can hold maybe 5 cards and a wad of cash in the back, but I love your idea of the card pocket on the back as well which will allow a few more cards. Chief31794 Posted May 7, 2015 Report Posted May 7, 2015 Very nice. One thing you might want to try; The back of the snap detracts a little from the appearance, you can use the button on both sides with the male on one and the female on the other, then both snap pieces look finished on the outside of the wallet. The posts are the same for the male and female snaps so they are interchangable. I would use the domed cap on both sides. Chief Quote

I made few wallets where I actually went the other way around using the flat back of the snap on both sides ...I just needed that low profile sandwiched in-between two plys of leather Quote
Members DoubleC Posted May 7, 2015 Members Report Posted May 7, 2015 Well Legion your wallet is way cool. I really like it. And CHIEF I didn't know that about the interchangeable posts so thank you. Will try that where the snap has to show. Cheryl Quote

Members LeatherLegion Posted May 25, 2015 Author Members Report Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Here is a smaller version with an extra pocket inside the flap and the other ones facing inwards . I also took Chief's advice and use the domed part of the line #24 snap on both sides Edited May 25, 2015 by LeatherLegion Quote
