stelmackr Report post Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) Does anyone know of a supplier? Maybe, instructions for making my own. Maybe http://www.veneersupplies.com/products/TransTint---Red-Mahogany-2-oz.html ? ...or... http://www.veneersupplies.com/products/Color-Concepts-Finishers-Color-Wheel.html Just some other places to find dyes that might work on leather. I don't have your color in front of me so I gave it a blind shot... http://www.mohawk-finishing.com/mhk_cds/color_chart/Color%20Chart.pdf Bob Stelmack Edited August 28, 2015 by stelmackr
Thor Report post Posted August 28, 2015 How badly do you want it? Looks like the manufacturer is Fenice in Italy. Tandy seems to just sell it under his own name. On the other hand it looks like Raisin Mahogany is just reduced Dark Mahogany with a very slight touch of purple. If you really, really need it, here's a supplier in Germany still having it https://www.rickert-werkzeug.de/de/Farbe-Pflege-Kleber/Leder-Antik-Finish-Eco-Flo-Hi-Lite-Stain.html?c=119. They will ship to anywhere in the world, but I wonder if that would be very economical.
NVLeatherWorx Report post Posted August 28, 2015 Just an FYI here but Tandy dropped the Raisin Mahogany color from their product line about a year ago as it wasn't a great mover. The manufacturer is indeed Fenice of Italy and they do all of the Eco-Flo dye/stain line for Tandy; however, the shades that Tandy sells are unique to them only and Fenice will not sell them to anyone else for distribution or use. capsterdog Report post Posted August 28, 2015 I can check my tandy store tomorrow, going on a road trip, if they have it I can pick it up for you. PM if you are interested. Be more than happy to help out. I will also check to see if I have an extra bottle. I liked that color but I believe they discontinued it. Always happen that way with colors I like.
