Sandor Report post Posted January 20, 2021 I found an 45K Sv 44 but i don't know so much about it
jimi Report post Posted January 20, 2021 Hi Sandor nice find and welcome to the forum. You can find information about the 45k models here in the search option, here is the link for the manual and some more useful info on these machines. Your 45kSV44 was superseeded by the 45k53, that is the number it was given before it was also superseeded by the 45k89 i think it was? and by the looks of your pictures there are a few parts missing from your machine which would be for the foot movement, you san see the parts on the 45k52 in the pictures. jimi. Oldiesfan Report post Posted April 3, 2021 (edited) I have a Singer 132KSV18 model with roller foot . The first owner replaced the original foot with this one . There are some differences with my 132k6 ! First what I noticed , a reverse lever on this machine . No walking foot and maybe some more different thing's that I'm not aware of . Somebody know? Constabulary Report post Posted April 9, 2021 I´m surprised to see a 132K (OEM Singer, not clone) with reverse. @Oldiesfan - can you please post a picture of the underside of your machine? I´m curios how the reverse works on this machine / what is different to the "plain" 132Ks.

Spring in picture (with yellow arrow) is strong . Edited April 9, 2021 by Oldiesfan
Oldiesfan Report post Posted April 9, 2021 This 132ksv18 has also a special hardened shuttle hook . Totally different machine than my 132k6 with walkingfoot .
Constabulary Report post Posted April 10, 2021 (edited) Interesting machine. How do you know it has a (special?) hardened shuttle hook? All shuttle hooks are at least surface hardened afaik. Edited April 10, 2021 by Constabulary

All shuttle hooks are at least surface hardened afaik. I know this because the old man told me . The shuttle hook is a Singer 103116 type. But it was/is like de SV machines are ! Different. I can only tell what he told me . Probably there are more parts in this machine (extra) hardened !? 2 original Singer 132k versions shuttle hooks/ Bobbin cases . Slightly different from what you can see with no glasses Edited April 10, 2021 by Oldiesfan
Oldiesfan Report post Posted April 11, 2021 (edited) @Constabulary can you tell me something about the difference between te two Shuttle hooks in the pictures ? There are 2 tings which you can see while looking at te two . See pictures and arrow pointers . Thanks for your helping hand so far Edited April 11, 2021 by Oldiesfan
Mynx Report post Posted May 6, 2021 I got a new machine for this thread. Picked up a Singer 7SV11 which I’m assuming is a 7-11 variant.
Mynx Report post Posted May 6, 2021 Not actually convinced it’s a 7-11 tho. The feed dog and take up lever are different. I will try to look up some of the parts and see what it actually became/is.
CowboyBob Report post Posted May 6, 2021 7-11 is a bookbinder with a long stitch & reverse, flat foot that doesn't walk. This machine has a vibrating foot on it.Which I've seen on other models like the 7-25 which has a large shuttle like the 7-31,33. dikman Report post Posted May 6, 2021 I like it, something where you can actually see all the mechanical bits working. That deserves a decent restoration.

You were definitely correct. A lot of the parts are matching from the 7-25 part list. I couldn’t really find any other info on the 7-25, like what they were used for and there capabilities. I did end up ordering some large 7-31 bobbins because they also had matching part numbers in the manual. Any other info would be awesome!

Does your machine have a large bobbin machine? The 7-25 base by the needle plate is built-up for the larger bobbin, unlike yours in the pic. CowboyBob Report post Posted May 12, 2021 It's hard to tell for sure in this pic.The big bobbin measures 1-1/2"x1-1/2",small is 7/8"x1-1/8"
