Iron Maiden guitar strap

I made this Christmas gift for my brother inlaw who is a big Iron Maiden fan.

This piece of leather was roughly 54 inches long, close to 4 inches wide, and about 9 ounces thick when I bought it at Tandy.

I started from the bottom and worked my way up with different images and titles from the band's various albums and songs.

First I drew them on a folded piece of paper to make it easier to fit them onto the strap. Eventually, I also put his name on the front.

By that time I was getting nervous I'd make a mistake and ruin the whole thing. Thankfully it came together well enough.

I grew up listening to Maiden, so I was pretty excited to see what you did with this.  Looks fantastic, your brother in law's name really is the part that puts it over the top, that lettering is perfect.  I'm sure he's stoked about this piece.

Wow, that is really nice work.  Not a huge IM fan, but l'm a fan of that strap.
