spacedog Report post Posted February 18, 2017 I made this Christmas gift for my brother inlaw who is a big Iron Maiden fan. This piece of leather was roughly 54 inches long, close to 4 inches wide, and about 9 ounces thick when I bought it at Tandy. I started from the bottom and worked my way up with different images and titles from the band's various albums and songs. First I drew them on a folded piece of paper to make it easier to fit them onto the strap. Eventually, I also put his name on the front. By that time I was getting nervous I'd make a mistake and ruin the whole thing. Thankfully it came together well enough. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Looks fantastic, your brother in law's name really is the part that puts it over the top, that lettering is perfect. I'm sure he's stoked about this piece.
