Equiplay Saddlery Report post Posted February 25, 2017 This is a purse made from the same Wickett and Craig harness leather that I made a briefcase from. The customer saw the briefcase and loved the look. Once again critiques are welcome. This is the first time I've made a purse.

Tugadude Report post Posted February 26, 2017 Very nice, and thanks for the pics of the inside. Lots of times you can learn a lot by seeing the innards as well as the outside. Nice color as said previously. Wondering whether you considered lining it?

I did consider lining it Tugadude but this leather actually has a nice finish and is fairly smooth. The lady I made it for is also a horse person and likes the leather look. This was the first time I have done a purse and I like how it turned out but I did learn a lot and have found a few things I would do differently on another one. I'm also glad a made a good pattern for this one.

I'm trying to get better at it. The strap I used my CB4500 to stitch.
Wedgetail Report post Posted March 16, 2017 I like it, simple yet effective design and excellent finish. Interesting use of a conway buckle for the strap too.
