Here's my first purse I've ever made. I used a kit from Tandy that I picked up at a local used book store. I replaced a few of the parts with better hardware than was included. Thanks for checking it out!

Oh and if anyone has any pointers on my tooling I would greatly appreciate it!

Very nice.  I would not have guessed it was from a kit. Nice job on the lacing.

Great job.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.

You nailed the lacing. The first lacing I tried, I thought it would never end. Learned a lot on that one, though. The rest of it is great too!

Watch some videos on "decorative cuts" on YouTube. They really make the flowers come to life.

So much leather...so little time.

Thank you all! I appreciate the support. Alpha 2 I will look into the decorative cuts. My tooling game is still weak.
