Long over due Idea

Here is one I have had on my mind and finally got the nerve to try it.....Do you show it as art or using piece?

It's wearable art. I would post it on my site as an example. Then, I would wear it everywhere I could.

When they ask, "where'd you get that", I would just tell 'em, "I made it".

And watch the orders pour in.

Elements of both? It is quite classy, but is asking to be used. What I like about it is that the ornamentation isn't overdone, some just fill every spare bit of space with something which tends to make it a bit overwhelming (and gaudy!).

Looks like a lot of work went into it.

That is absolutely awesome.  Art without a doubt, functional to a T.  The wait was well worth it.  I look forward to the day when I can do that.

thanks for the comments.... it took awhile to do and was mostly off the cuff.... Had an idea but as I would get one part done the ideas changed.  I am trying to come up with one now for the 1911 and some original pieces form the 1800's for the cowboy, cavalry, and civil war

That is truly inspirational, the question I have is, was the all that work done with a backgrounder stamp I think it is called?  It certainly provides food for thought.

yes it is a set that Tandy sells with three size stamps..... the key is to really rotate the stamp as you use it in your fingers

I like it! I would use it myself.

I would buy a pair of Uberti Matched Pair Cody's, or Engraved Cody's for the holsters.

Or if I were even richer, I'd buy a pair of Magnum Research's 45-70's.

Did I tell everyone I'm a huge fan of the 45-70?

I say art simply because the lifted feathers would seem to be a bit fragile to me.
