Here are some of the steampunk items I taught for a class at Tandy Leather. It is a series where every month I do a new piece. It is a lot of fun and everything is made of leather, but a couple of rivets. hope you guys like them. :)

Great job.

I would love to have a leather top hat, but it's just too dang hot down south.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.

You could make the top circle from perforated leather, and have a small battery powered fan inside to pull the hot air out.

Be real cool.. :)

Wow... Nice Steampunk items. Real copper for piping on breathing apparatus? I fell in love with that. Great work once again...

actually :) ... its all leather except a couple rivets to hold strap pieces. I teach at my store and this was one of the classes I taught during the year and wanted to show you can achieve the same results using leather. It is leather cord I dry brushed over a latex mixed with black acrylic. Thank you and I'm happy to see you liked it
