New Year another new wallet for me!

Recommended Posts

A basket weave long wallet. 7 X 3.5 closed. 8 card pockets and 2 bill pockets. Outer shell 5 oz W/C interior 3oz W/C airbrushed Fiebings Tan. Tan antique. As usual for me I jacked up the border stamp. Let me know what you think.

I have always kind of wondered what that basket stamp would look like.  I think I kind of like it.  Do you have to rotate the tool each time you hit it to get the look?  The pattern it leaves on the back is pretty nifty too.  I like how it came out.  What did you use to antique it - acrylic or paste?

I used Eco Flo Tan Antique.  And yes you rotate to alternate the stamp. I used daughter nail polish to mark 1 side red and side to the right of it green to help me keep track of where I was at. If that makes sense.

I think it looks great. I love that stamp. I think it really brings out that "woven" look.

Makes perfect sense, I like the method.

Excellent! I'm liking that stamp. Now I need to get a daughter, and she needs to get some nail polish. Nah. I think I'll find another method.

I just got this stamp for Christmas. Haven’t tried it beyond a little piece of scrap but I sure like the look. Nice work.
