Members robs456 Posted February 3, 2018 Members Report Posted February 3, 2018 Made a sheath for my 8 year old nephew's first knife. The kid is into Lord of the Rings so made it look 'elfish', and even gilded the carving with 23 karat gold leaf. Quote Instagram: rob5leather
Members TacticallySharp Posted February 3, 2018 Members Report Posted February 3, 2018 I like it! Very nice, I've been a LOTR follower since before the movies... Quote George Tactically Sharp, Inc. Hialeah, Florida tacticallysharp.com "time only is forever"
bikermutt07 Posted February 3, 2018 Report Posted February 3, 2018 Good job. Quote I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with. Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day. From Texas but in Bossier City, Louisiana.
alpha2 Posted February 3, 2018 Report Posted February 3, 2018 Totally Elfish! Nice sheath. Lucky boy. Quote So much leather...so little time.

True words. I'm 64 and I'm still figuring out how lucky I am! At least my trophy wife tells me regularly that I am. Quote So much leather...so little time.
garypl Posted February 4, 2018 Report Posted February 4, 2018 I used knives and guns when I was very young - from about the age of 11 - and I started my kids shooting when they were around 8 years old. Too many people around now days that are horrified at the thought of an 8 year old touching a knife or gun, even under adult supervision. Most of these types are in the bigger cities....
