Caesar Report post Posted February 22, 2018 I made a watch strap. I think it turned out well for the most part. Had a little trouble with the keeper, but overall I'm pleased. If anyone knows the secrets of stitching in a keeper I'm all ears. Not sure how to get around the max pic size limit. I suppose I could resize. But, here they are on imgur. https://imgur.com/gallery/FDbTu

It's goat leather on top and bottom, with veg tan tooling leather in the middle. Maine Thread Co. .03" waxed polycord.

alpha2 Report post Posted February 22, 2018 great strap! Nigel Armitage has a video on sewing a keeper in a belt, I suppose it would be the same process, only a lot more intricate!
garypl Report post Posted February 22, 2018 Nice looking strap! You can use Irfanview to resize on a PC or if you have pics on an iPad or iPhone, download the Imagesize app. Both very easy to use for resizing down to 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 for posting. Both programs are free. Gary
