Mjolnir Report post Posted February 28, 2018 (edited) 9 hours ago, Rockoboy said: An Egyptian oroburos on a mallet with Nordic runes? Is that a little strange ... or is it just me? In Norse mythology, the ouroboros appears as the serpent Jörmungandr, one of the three children of Loki and Angrboda, which grew so large that it could encircle the world and grasp its tail in its teeth. Funny thing about mythology. wash, rinse... repeat. P.S. It is just you Edited March 1, 2018 by Mjolnir ps

Funny thing about mythology. wash, rinse... repeat. P.S. It is just you Thanks Mjolnir! I knew there was a Norse equivalent Orobouros, but couldn't for the life of me remember - I even checked my Viking mythology books but couldn't find it at a quick look. There's even a Native American version and if I remember right a Hindu version. Commonalities in mythology throughout the world are a kind of startling at times! - Bill PS Please don't drop your Mjolnir on any airports when it's finished, thanks!
