Rolandranch Report post Posted May 22, 2018 Howdy folks! Just finished my second holster for a client. I still have to make the gun belt and fully tool it.... but I don't want to think about that right now. Tooling pattern is my own and the shape of the holster was copied off the original holster. There's still plenty of room for improvement but you know... I'll get there eventually. Let me know what you think! Comments/critique always welcome. Cool gun belt coming soon.... -Ryan

alpha2 Report post Posted May 23, 2018 All done except for the Resolene. I promise I'll get a pic up when it's finished. Frankly, it's not as good as the last one I did for the Ruger, but this one I'll keep, really miss the one I shipped out! Jeff

I'll be sure to post the belt with the holster when it's done. I'm pretty busy this week but I MIGHT have it done by next week. Thankfully, I'm homeschooled and my summer classes only require about 2 hours of my day so I'm blessed to be able to do what I'm doing. As far as setting the bar... How is a guy going to get anywhere if he doesn't set the bar higher every time he reaches it? Thank you for the compliment! -Ryan

I thought about tooling the keeper as well but decided against it because I thought it might look too messy with the stitching. 6 hours ago, JLSleather said: Looks purdy good, kid. It is braided leather but unfortunately, I discovered that it is synthetic and wears fast. So I'll probably replace it with the real deal. We'll see. 53 minutes ago, doublehbar said: Beautiful work!
