fiebing's oil dye chocolate is grey

Hello everybody, i have a problem. I am using fiebing pro dye chocolate and i dont know why it's getting grey color instead of chocolate. It's look like this, each photo is made on different leather.

The dye may be separating from the carrier. Did you shake the bottle before applying the dye? That may help reconstitute the dye. If that doesn't help you could contact the seller about returning it (good luck on an opened dye). Otherwise, write "Gray" on the bottle and buy another bottle of chocolate dye from a different supplier.

Of course i shake it the problem is i use another 10 dyes, and never had that problem with another one. Only chocolate cause this problem

Shaking it might not be enough. I opened a new bottle of black dye last night. I gave it a very vigorous shaking before pouring it into a larger bottle. When I looked into the dye bottle there was a fairly solid layer of dye colourant in the bottom. It took several attempts with my dye thinners to dissolve that sediment - which was of course added to the larger bottle

I use Fiebings chocolate dye all the time on my holsters and never have had a problem.  I'd say that you go a bad bottle of dye.

I am using another 10 dyes from then and i never had that problem. Only with chocolate

I also use the chocolate dye and have never had a problem.  You must have a bad bottle.  Maybe write to Fiebings and explain the problem - they may offer a replacement.
