Yep, have had a few Darwin moments! Worst one was when the canoe flipped, and my foot got stuck under the seat. I kicked like crazy, and finally my shoe came off, and I was able to get to the surface for some air. Thank God i wasn't wearing my hiking boots, or we might not be having this conversation! :o

The second nice part of this near disaster was fellow trip members found both my paddle and my track shoe at the bottom of the rapids!  :thumbsup:

Old Towns are nice canoes. Here in Canada it's the old Chestnut cedar and canvas canoes that everyone treasures.

My old 49 Massey Ferguson  tractor is literally right outside my workshop, unfinished, i walk past it every day. I even have a few pics of my late mother sitting on it.  One day....I'll finish it:whistle:

I also have an old, broken tractor ... that stares at me whenever I walk out into the shed. :(
