Hi folks!

I just finished a basketweave belt that I think turned out ok.  This was my first time tooling on Wickett and Craig and I really enjoyed working with it.  It was also my first time using Angelus finishes and I found them pretty easy to work with.

Looks real nice!

Is there a reason the stitch like doesn't connect at the top by the name?

Thanks!  Yeah, the main reason I did that is because the beveling around the curve next to the letter J goes all the way to the edge and I wanted that tooling to be clean all the way to the edge.

Exceptional work! That's a real proud piece. "Thou shall not covet..." :jawdropper:

Very sharp looking. Well done.

That is really nice! My basket weave skills are terrible when I see this.

Great layout, antique application and I like the initials and the concho. Top work all-round

That is a wicked belt. Beautiful layout and execution.

I'm not paying 80 bucks for a belt!!! It's a strip of leather. How hard could it be? 4 years and 3 grand later.... I have a belt I can finally live with.

Stitching is like gravy, it's only great if you make it every day.
