Contributing Member LatigoAmigo Posted February 13, 2019 Contributing Member Report Posted February 13, 2019 Wow, this is fabulous for a first bag, you are off to a great start in leather working. It's obvious that you have other talents as well, because your zipper installation, seams and edges look professional. Job well done. Quote
Members coma44 Posted February 14, 2019 Members Report Posted February 14, 2019 Very nice work. I like the design also. Quote
Members bvdv Posted February 14, 2019 Author Members Report Posted February 14, 2019 thx for the kind words, the leather is fourth choice, you see some dork points here and there-> beter picture below. i also attached a close up where the zipper exists the inside off the bag. Quote
Members Tugadude Posted February 14, 2019 Members Report Posted February 14, 2019 I like how you added leather backing to the zipper. Many folks don't do that but I always do. Might be unnecesary but it makes me feel better so I do it. I liked the numbers on the bottom. When I see that type of thing it captures my interest. I would say you are ready to attempt a briefcase or such. Good luck! Quote
Members bvdv Posted February 14, 2019 Author Members Report Posted February 14, 2019 (edited) Thx, our next project is a small briefcase. I follow leather classes for 3 months now (1 time a week 4h). I make a new post with the result. Btw the numbers on the bottom are for traceability. They were put there when they skinned the cow. Bert Edited February 14, 2019 by bvdv Quote
