Beautiful job!  Would like to see the bottom and what technique you used for it.

Just used a scribe line should have used a stitching channel. It from Al Stohlman Art of hand sewing and making cases books.

Looks good!   That's probably more even and straight than I have ever managed similar bottoms.  They ain't easy!

I have a bit of a stamping habit and that basket weave looks really clean and straight to me.

The lacing on the side goes really well with the basket weave.
