Tugadude Report post Posted February 11, 2020 Frodo, It appears that much of the stitching isn't drawing up tight. Do you know what is going on there?
chuck123wapati Report post Posted February 11, 2020 I like the design, and your dyeing technique. Is that sewing done with your patcher machine?

Thanks : I used 2 dyes. antique mahogany and black [mahogany is cut by 50% rubbing alcohol] dyed the whole thing mahogany, did not touch up uneven dye areas dipped a sponge in black dye, then rubbed off half the dye, I died the edges black and the top edge black by holding the sponge on an angle so that i died the top and edge at the same time, randomly then just rubbed the body of the leather here and there.. then sealed it all with goof proof water based finish

blue62 Report post Posted February 13, 2020 You need to get the stiching dialed in, it looks uneven and loose, and bevel and slick up the edges, they look pretty rough, which makes the bag look rough. It's the little things that make a project really stand out.
