Bert51 Report post Posted February 24, 2020 I was wondering if you could help by identifying this machine. All I know it is a Consew upholstery machine, but it is missing it's ID plates. I looks similar to Singer/Seiko's I have seen in the pasted, but I have no idea of the model. Thanks, Bert.
Wizcrafts Report post Posted February 24, 2020 It may be a Consew 206RB-something

Constabulary Report post Posted February 24, 2020 (edited) Seiko STW-8B I´d say. Edited February 24, 2020 by Constabulary
JJN Report post Posted February 24, 2020 In the US I would say it looks like a Consew 226R. I don't know if Seiko sold as Consew or Seiko in Australia. The bottom of the bed should have the Seiko name cast into it either way.
Bert51 Report post Posted February 25, 2020 Thank you for your help, the 206 and the 226 look very similar, if I put both on my phone I might look like I know what I'm looking at. Thanks, Bert.
Colt W Knight Report post Posted February 29, 2020 I have a 206, and that isn't a 206. But I do believe it is a 226 or corresponding seiko

Handstitched Report post Posted March 1, 2020 (edited) @Bert51 Look familiar? Super reliable Seiko STW-28B. Built in 1966 . Its a twin needle, but I only use it as a single. Never had the need for a twin, although I still have all the bits for a twin. Happy sewing HS PS: I can never find a manual for the STW 28 B twin needle , so I use a Consew 226 manual.
