Josh Ashman Report post Posted June 26, 2020 LR & RH matched pair of holsters for J frame S&W's. Built from 7 oz. HO. Finished with Fiebings Hi-Liter after a light coat of NF oil then top coated with M&G cut 50/50. After that dried I put a little Kiwi neutral on and buffed it off. The pistol in a few of the pics is a Colt Cobra as it's close enough to fit and I didn't have a J frame handy. Have a great Friday everybody! Sturme Report post Posted June 27, 2020 these look good, but to me ( and this is just my opinion) the leather around the trigger looks a little too open. to easy for something unwanted to get into that area.

Stetson912 Report post Posted June 27, 2020 Nice work as usual Josh. Would you explain those two screw spacer dealies for me? Are they spacers or for tension? I don't think I've seen them used before in leather.

Thanks Sturme! Exposed triggers on revolvers or SA auto's don't cause me much concern, but I respect that other people have different ideas on that. I appreciate your comments! The parts are a stainless T nut, a 8/32 screw, a finish washer and a length of fuel hose to cover the screw between the leather. On 6/27/2020 at 6:43 PM, AzShooter said: In a word, Fantastic. Scootch Report post Posted July 1, 2020 Thats a really nice design. I like the idea of forming the belt slot first. I'll have to try that sometime. Scootch
