Members Jaan Posted September 6, 2020 Members Report Posted September 6, 2020 (edited) I'm really happy with the way this turned out! The first 2 holsters I made were simple Slim Jim holsters with lacing. I've never done this much hand stitching in my life. The outside is 11oz and the lining is 5oz for a 1/4 inch overall thickness. I kept the inside un-dyed but I airbrushed the outside. I poured over this book looking for ideas! I want to make all of them now haha Now I just have to make another left handed one, and I want to make a matching belt too. . Edited September 6, 2020 by Jaan Picture formatting Quote
Members Alaisiagae Posted September 6, 2020 Members Report Posted September 6, 2020 I like how the color of the holster matches the grip of the gun. The tooling is simple but elegant. The lighter colored thread really shows off how neatly you did the stitches. Thank you for sharing your project with us! Quote
rickybobby Posted September 19, 2020 Report Posted September 19, 2020 You have done a great job on that! Each one will get a little better and a little easier. Know when to challenge yourself and also know when to keep doing a task until perfected then move on. Quote
Members TexasJack Posted September 21, 2020 Members Report Posted September 21, 2020 Really nice job! Looks like a very solid holster that will perform as well as look pretty. Quote
