Members philmb Posted September 18, 2020 Members Report Posted September 18, 2020 Hi all. Needed a new Drill holster. Got a "Tough Built" for the Drill/impact driver and was going to get another for the other tool. Decided to make my own. Thanks =) Quote
Members philmb Posted September 18, 2020 Author Members Report Posted September 18, 2020 If i was to make it again i would put the belt loop at more of an angle so the battery was more upright. I thinik it would hang a bit better Quote
Members blue duck Posted September 18, 2020 Members Report Posted September 18, 2020 Cool beans! I just love to see something unique. Good job. Quote

Members DJole Posted September 18, 2020 Members Report Posted September 18, 2020 I like the attention paid to reinforcement. A nice clean piece-- I'd be proud to own that myself! Quote
Members maxdaddy Posted September 18, 2020 Members Report Posted September 18, 2020 That looks great. The holster will outlive the drill for sure. Quote
Members AzShooter Posted September 19, 2020 Members Report Posted September 19, 2020 That's incredible. I really like your design and the use of hardware. Quote
Members philmb Posted September 19, 2020 Author Members Report Posted September 19, 2020 Thank you all for the good feedback. Im always looking for different things to make. Im usually doing knife sheaths, each knife i have has about 4 sheaths now - haha. Thanks again =) Quote
Members Woodshed Posted September 20, 2020 Members Report Posted September 20, 2020 That is so cool! I didn't know I needed something like that Quote
Members JayEhl Posted September 21, 2020 Members Report Posted September 21, 2020 Man that would be cool to hang that along with a tool belt that I friend uses for his construction job! Quote

I do have it on the tool belt, but not for a construction job. I have a new house and am constantyl doing stuff around the house. I got tired of being up a ladder - Asking my daughter to help me - "hold my drill and pass it up to me" - Turn around for the drill and my daughter would be drilling holes in the dirt over the other side of the garden - Haha. Im sure some people on here can relate =) Quote
MikeRock Posted December 5, 2020 Report Posted December 5, 2020 Neat! How much of a PITA is it to unsnap and resnap the retaining strap all the time? Would the drill be firmly held without the strap? Retention straps are my pet peeve, so no offense. That is a VERY cool holster!! Thanks for sharing. God bless. Quote
Members kirbytorres Posted December 16, 2020 Members Report Posted December 16, 2020 looks good... but wouldn't the battery pull up the chuck making it difficult to remove from the holster? Quote
