I have no doubt I could build one for far less than 200 bucks . . . but when you add the labor time to the materials . . . it gets pricey right quick.

I could easily build one for myself . . . have done far more complicated machinery that that . . . but again . . . once the time is put in it . . . what did I save??

May God bless,

Dwight

If you can breathe, . . . thank God.

If you can read, . . . thank a teacher.

If you are reading this in English, . . . thank a veteran.

Its not what you saved but what you gained, knowledge, confidence and ability to do it.  Money means nothing. Idle time is wasted. IMO:)

i would start with one of these lol.https://www.harborfreight.com/automotive/winches/12-ton-capacity-hand-winch-62592.html

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

Your link goes to one for $100.

The seller is in Hong Kong. Buyer beware! Also, there may be a 25% duty imposed on the machine and shipping costs.

Hey everyone ,

Just wanted to see what everybody’s thoughts were on a $200 belt embosser that you could take the embossing rolls that anybody makes and put on this machine . It’s very very simple to use and all steel construction with heavy duty bearings and adjustable height for different thicknesses of leather. Hand crank , and Made in the USA by me..

.Do you think there Would be a market for it , Again for about $200 .
thanks

Paul

I’m following for sure. Would like to get one!
