Is the exterior the dark brown?  If so, I could see it.  If it isn't, then to me it is going to seem out of place.  In general, I have no problem with two-tone wallets.

I think two-toned is a great look on a wallet. Hell, as many tones as you can make make sense is plenty. As long as it has flow, go with it.
