Dave1717 Report post Posted March 25, 2021 Hello. I’m new to leather work. I found a walking foot sewing machine but it doesn’t have a model number or serial number. It has a sticker or something on the back. TSMD. I don’t know who makes it. Can anyone help

Only way your going to know if it's worth the price paid . You need to oil and manually cycle the machine. You need to plug it in, string it up, and lay down some stitches . If it a mechanically sound stitching machine, then 300-$ is a OK price. .
Wizcrafts Report post Posted March 26, 2021 That is a dual feed upholstery leather, cloth and vinyl sewing machine. The outside foot works in sync with the feed dog to claw the work back. There are probably aggressive teeth on the bottom of the feet to help it feed. They will mark the top grain of veg-tan leather and leave deep tracks. Uwe Report post Posted March 31, 2021 The manual for the Consew 18/118 might be useful: https://www.manualslib.com/manual/1273358/Consew-18.html Here’s previous topic on the Consew 118: The threading is the same as the machine in this video:
