Members JayEhl Posted May 5, 2021 Members Report Posted May 5, 2021 oh SNAP! that camouflage detail work around the edges look super. Simple but very nice. And the display on the wooden planks sends out that rustic vibe. Good work! Quote

Members Bert03241 Posted May 5, 2021 Members Report Posted May 5, 2021 what kind of 3d printer makes metal concho's? or are they plastic? Quote
Members sbrownn Posted May 5, 2021 Members Report Posted May 5, 2021 That is absolutely beautiful work. What filament did you use for the conchos? Quote
Members corkscrew Posted May 5, 2021 Author Members Report Posted May 5, 2021 Thanks. The conchos are made of brass and gold plated. I designed them on AutoDesk Fusion 360 and then sent the file to www.shapeways.com. They print and plate them and ship them back to me. I designed in a boss on the back with a hole that I tap for a screw to secure them in place. Quote

Members noobleather Posted May 9, 2021 Members Report Posted May 9, 2021 Very nice work. Very interesting conchos they add a real personal touch , I wouldn't mind getting some custom made ones printed and cast myself. Quote
Members corkscrew Posted May 10, 2021 Author Members Report Posted May 10, 2021 noobleather, I can do them for you. Or if you have access to a 3D CAD program you can design it and send them to www.shapeways.com Quote
